These are the ideologies that I highly oppose... The top and bottom panels represent the secular extremisms while the side panels represent the religious extremisms that, in my point of view, are the ideologies that ruins our society.
First up is the left panel. It represents Christian extremism very much perceptible in self-righteous sects such as the "Born-again" fundamentalisms and the likes that treat other Christians with different views as anti-Christs and harlots of Babylon. These are the people that think they alone are "saved". For me, such "christians" lack true charity towards their brethren that Christ had taught and instead shows self-righteousness and arrogance. Christ taught not to judge (Mat 7:1) but instead they judge others, even fellow-christians, as "of the devil"... This extremism of Christianity is the very hindrance for true Christian unity and ecumenism.
The second panel, the right panel, represents the Islamic extremism that people very much associate with terrorism. It is quite evident that this extremism bestow anguish to fellow-muslims as much as they do to non-muslims. If I may quote the Qu'ran "If they leave you alone and offer to make peace with you, God does not allow you to harm them. (4:90). The passage seems a great polemic against terrorism. Good muslims are now subject to negative prejudice because of these extremists.
Next is the the top panel, representing the pro-choice movement. this is an extremism for me because it is a dispensable misrepresentation of civil liberties. People can sugar-coat it however they want but it is, for me, nothing but the "choice" of selfish killing of innocent lives. No justification will be enough to convince me that there is nothing wrong in the right to choose to whether on not kill an innocent child. This is the modern-day Nazi holocaust.
The bottom panel represents another misrepresentation of civil liberties. Distorted religious freedom. Since when did religious freedom become freedom from religion? True religious freedom is the right to freely practice one's religion whenever wherever as long as nobody gets hurt! Taking prayer in public as offensive is just plain paranoia. I think it is more offensive to take away every single right of faith of individuals. I'm not saying take away secularism since the separation of church and state is a view even the church supports. I am saying don't throw out people's faiths since it is a part of their rights as individuals to practice their own faith without neo-fascist repression.
Well that's it. There are still more ideologies that I view as scum to society but these are the four biggest for me. These is from my point of view and if you disagree then feel free to do so. In fact, I encourage you, if you disagree, to do a polemic or apologetic on me. A dialogue is always better than a monologue.
